First batch Dr. Shaileshwar Sati Prasad ji, retired prof. English, Patna university passed away at Delhi on 21st April.
It is most shocking to learn that Prof Shaileshwar Sati Prasad has left for his eternal journey today morning. We are just speechless. I had a very long association with him. In fact, he was just like our elder brother. He was associated with School of Creative Learning from the first day as Vice President. In fact, he was associated with me right from Total Literacy Campaign days in early 90s. He took active part in all intellectual discourse of the city. He was a permanent feature of all conferences and seminars. I will always remember his GM formulae for learning, which he presented in NCERT. He used to refer to Grandmother (GM ) way of story telling as the best way of teaching children. No social event was complete without him. Recently I had a talk with him when he was in Delhi. Never knew that he would leave us so early.
It would be difficult to fill the void created by his death. We shall miss you in all intellectual gatherings.
