NOBA GSR Launches Village Library Initiative in Memory of late Padma Shri Vashishth Narayan Jee, a revered mathematician.
Netarhat Old Boys’ Association conceptualized a non-profit organization “NOBA GSR” under Global Social Responsibility committed to educational development, has proudly inaugurated a new initiative to establish library setups in Bazardihva village in Kaimur district. It is dedicated to the memory of the late Padma Shri Vashishth Narayan Jee, a revered mathematician and proud alumni of Netarhat Vidyalaya (Vashishtha Jee had joined Netarhat School in 1957).
The initiative aims to bring the gift of knowledge to rural communities and honor the legacy of Padma Shri Vashishth Narayan Jee, whose contributions to the field of mathematics have left an indelible mark.
This library is established with support of Jai Singh, son of Ratika Singh (NRI) who believes that this will serve as hubs for learning, providing access to a diverse collection of books, educational resources, and technology to residents of the Bazardihva village.
"We are excited to announce the launch of the Village Library Initiative, a tribute to the extraordinary legacy of Padma Shri Vashishth Narayan Jee. These libraries will not only serve as repositories of knowledge but also as community spaces where individuals can come together to learn, share ideas, and inspire one another," said Mani Raj Singh, Operation Manager of NOBA GSR.
Anju Singh, Utkarsh, Rishabh , Altamas along with Local community leaders and dignitaries joined the inauguration ceremony, expressing their gratitude for NOBA GSR's efforts to enhance educational opportunities in their village.
NOBA GSR encourages individuals and organizations to support the Village Library Initiative and contribute to the noble cause of promoting education and literacy in rural areas.
नेतरहाट आवासीय विद्यालय के पूर्ववर्ती छात्रों की प्रमुख गैर-लाभकारी संस्था नोबा जीएसआर (NOBA GSR) खुशी के साथ नयी कार्यकारिणी टीम की घोषणा करता है ।
1 August 2023 से प्रभावी होकर, श्री रमेश चंद्र मिश्रा (Chairman VVIT) नोबा जीएसआर के प्रधान (अध्यक्ष) का पदभार निभाएंगे, और श्री नागेंद्र नाथ सिन्हा (Secretory, Ministry of Steel) नोबा जीएसआर के उपाध्यक्ष (वाइस प्रेसिडेंट) के तौर पर टीम को दिशा निर्देश देंगे । वहीं डॉ अम्बुज कुमार, (डायरेक्टर एवं हेड ऑफ़ डिपार्टमेंट न्यूरोसर्जरी, पारस अस्पताल) सचिव के रूप में इस संस्था में अपना योगदान देंगे ! कोषाध्यक्ष की भूमिका श्री अक्षय कुमार (CA by Profession) निभाएंगे !
शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अग्रणी पंक्ति में कार्यरत श्री रमेश चंद्र मिश्रा ( 64 Batch , नेतरहाट आवासीय विद्यालय ) अब NOBA GSR के नए अध्यक्ष के रूप में, भारत के ग्रामीण समुदायों में महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने और मासिक धर्म आधारित स्वच्छता संसाधनों, शिक्षा और जागरूकता की पहुंच को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए संगठन का नेतृत्व करेंगे। नोबा जीएसआर ने पिछले एक साल में बिहार और झारखण्ड में बहुत सशक्त एवं प्रभावी रूप से काम किया है , महज 365 दिनों में 575 विद्यालओं में सेनेटरी पैड वेंडिंग मशीन लगवाना एवं बच्चियों के लिए सैनिटरी पैड सहज तरीके से मुहैया करवाना अपने आप में एक मिसाल है ! आने वाले दिनों में सरकारी संस्थाओं एवं सहयोगियों के साथ अपने राज्य में इस कार्य को गति देना हमारा मुख्य उद्देश्य रहेगा ! “रमेश चंद्र मिश्रा ने कहा।
"नेतरहाट आवासीय विद्यालय के पूर्ववर्ती छात्र होने के नाते हमारे सामाजिक एवं वैश्विक दायित्व का निर्वाह कर रहे छात्र संगठन नोबा जीएसआर का हिस्सा बनना मेरे लिए सौभाग्य की बात है, यह एक ऐसा संगठन है जो महिलाओं और लड़कियों के जीवन पर महत्वपूर्ण प्रभाव डाल रहा है। मैं जरूरतमंद लोगों के लिए सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने के लिए हमारी टीम और सहयोगियों के साथ भागीदारी करने के लिए उत्सुक हूं," नागेंद्र नाथ सिन्हा (74 batch, Netarhat) ने कहा।
आज भी समाज माहवारी को गन्दा समझता है और कई तरह की भ्रांतियों को मानता है। इन भ्रांतियों के कारण किशोरियों और महिलाओं को काफी समस्यायों का सामना भी करना पड़ता है ..इन्ही सब भ्रांतियों और माहवारी पर चुप्पी को तोड़ने के उद्देश्य से "नोबा जीएसआर" संस्था अपने "संगिनी" संकल्प के तहत बिहार झारखण्ड में काफी अच्छा काम कर रही है , सचिव के रूप में जुड़कर मैं भी जागरूकता अभियान एवं अलग माध्यमों से इस कार्य में गति लाने के लिए दृढ़प्रतिज्ञ हूँ - डॉ अम्बुज (98 Batch, Netarhat) ने कहा।
नेतरहाट विद्यालय के पूर्ववर्ती छात्र संगठन NOBA GSR अपने संकल्प "संगिनी" के तहत 2030 तक मासिक धर्म को जीवन का एक सामान्य तथ्य बनाना’, जिसका उद्देश्य एक व्यापक लक्ष्य 2030 तक एक ऐसी दुनिया का निर्माण करना जहां मासिक धर्म के कारण कोई भी पीछे न रहे, को प्राप्त करने में योगदान देना है. कोषाध्यक्ष अक्षय कुमार (88 Batch, Netarhat) ने बताया की संगठन को मजबूत करने में अपना पूरा सहयोग दूंगा !
नोबा जीएसआर टीम अपने सभी नए सदस्यों का स्वागत करता है और आने वाले दिनों में अपने संकल्प, अपने मिशन के साथ कंधे से कन्धा मिलाकर काम करेंगे ! साथ ही साथ पहले कार्यकारिणी समिति के सभी सदस्यों ( श्री मुकेश (76 batch), अध्यक्ष; श्री सुमित शशि (93 Batch), सचिव; श्री मनीष कांत (96 Batch), कोषाध्यक्ष ) के प्रति भी अपना आभार प्रकट करते हैं , जिनके अटूट विश्वास एवं दृढ़निश्चय से नोबा जीएसआर इस मुकाम तक पहुँच पाया है ।

Arvind ji ( 177,Nalanda ,1970 entry NOBA, Ex IB chief )sworn is as Vigilance Commissioner today.
The Central Vigilance Commission has three members. One Chief Vigilance Commissioner and Two Vigilance Commissioners.
Kumar and Srivastava were sworn in as the vigilance commissioners by the Central Vigilance Commissioner at the office of the Central Vigilance Commission here, a Personnel Ministry statement said.
Kumar, a 1984 batch (retired) Indian Police Service officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre, served as the 27th director of the Intelligence Bureau from June 30, 2019 to June 30, 2022.
He joined the Intelligence Bureau as its assistant director in 1991.
Kumar has also served as First Secretary in the Embassy of India, Moscow, Russia. During his service, he has handled a number of onerous assignments on national security matters, including VIP security, left wing extremism and Jammu and Kashmir, it said.
He was awarded with the prestigious Indian Police Medal for meritorious service in 2003 followed by President’s Police Medal for distinguished service in 2009.
